Paris Outfits Pt. 2

Day 2 in Paris, and I’m deciding I may never leave. Like ever. This city is so charming and so lovely. Everything here is as I dreamt it would be! Even though I don’t speak a lick of French, getting around the city and navigating is fairly easy, and contrary to popular belief, the people are just lovely.

Our 2nd day in Paris was filled with walking, the most during our trip, so I wanted to something that would be cute and comfortable, but would make me feel like a Parisian at heart. I decided to go with a gorgeous pink off the shoulder sweater that was in my monthly Le Tote box, a great pair of distressed black jeans, and my trusty velvet sneakers. (I wasn’t kidding when I said I wore them almost every day!) I was able to walk comfortably while exploring, and my feet were thanking me by the end of the day for being in sensible shoes! Walking an hour to the Eiffel Tower and back was a hike, but so worth it.

Top: Summer & Sage Off Shoulder Sweater from Le Tote

Pants: Jeans from Nordstrom

Shoes: Marlow Velvet Sneakers from Sam Edelman

Purse: Faux Leather Crossbody Bag from Old Navy

I do have to mention one thing. A lot of the times, you think that if you’ve seen something a million times in photographs, it won’t impress you as much in person. I can honestly tell you that when it comes to the Eiffel Tower, this is NOT the case. Everyone grows up knowing exactly what the tower looks like and hearing how impressive it is. But nothing does it justice until you turn the corner, and it’s sitting in front of you in all of its glory. It is one of the most amazing structures I’ve ever seen. It truly did take my breath away. And if you’ve never been to Paris, trust me, it will take yours away also.
